HOW IT WORKS

For cool season turf grasses, aerate from September to mid-October. Using a Core Aerator, we will carefully cover your lawn. Mow the grass short a week prior; core aerating may temporarily stress the grass, so skip mowing for a week or two afterward. Expect soil tubules on your lawn for a few weeks, which will benefit the grass. Consider our overseeding service, where we provide a custom seed mix based on your lawn’s conditions (e.g., shady, sunny). If overseeding, we set the aerator 1 inch below the soil for seed placement; if only aerating, it will be set to 3 inches. Please inform us of any irrigation heads, dog fences, and cable lines that may be affected during aeration. We can flag irrigation heads on-site for a convenience fee.
